Installation Process
1. Ground Preparation
Excavate, grade, and thoroughly compact the native soil base.
2. Aggregate Base
Install and compact a 2–4″ crushed aggregate layer for smooth drainage and stability.
3. Roll out TURFMATE™
Roll out and seam TURFMATE directly over the aggregate base with air channel pattern facing DOWN. A separate weed barrier is not required.
4. Turf & Infill Finish
Lay artificial turf over the underlayment, secure edges, distribute infill, and power brush fibers upright.
